Gas station explosion & death in Colorado Springs?

Just read the news report about a young woman being burned to death at a Colorado Springs 7/11 conveniance store as a result of a driver striking a pick-up, which then pinned her between a vehicle and the gas pump she was using.. The collision ignited the gas pump, which then exploded, killing the woman .. I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS READING !!!!!!! WHERE WERE THE AUTOMATIC FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AT THIS STATION ????? AREN'T THEY REQUIRED BY LAW AT COLORADO GAS STATIONS ???? Or is this ANOTHER state - by - state requirement / law / regulation ??? More to the point, are they ( as they SHOULD BE !! ) required at gas stations in YOUR STATE ???? Put yourself ( or your CHILDREN ) in this womans position !!
