Why does he do this?

my guy friend always wants to hang out or do something. it is really annoying because even when i say no, he comes over :oP PLUS he tells me everything him and his girlfriend do, but he does it like in a bragging manner. we USED to be fwb, but that was last year. i love this guy as a friend because he is so awesome to hang with... just not all the time. WHY is he so clingy to me and why would he tell me what him and his girlfriend do... i don't care and i personaly don't want to know and he knows that. also, what do i do?? i DO NOT like this kid more than a friend. thanks
