He's the employer of your services. He is obligated to pay you in a timely manner. Confront him. And, each due date, wait around until he pays you, and confront him if he doesn't. If there's any right you have, it's to expect your compensation, just as he does of his patients. If this continues, ask him for a meeting, 'after work'.and remind him, politely, that you, too, have responsibilities. If you sense that he's in financial trouble, protect youself by beginning to look around for another position.
